Harmonic Matchmaking (HMM) - MEMBER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

(You must be at least 18 years old to register or use the Harmonic Matchmaking website. Access or use by anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited.)

This Member Terms and Conditions Agreement ('Agreement') outlines the terms governing the services offered by Harmonic Matchmaking (HMM), whose registered office is in California, USA, through the Harmonic Matchmaking website ('Site'). By registering as a member of the service (“Member”), you agree to these terms and conditions ('Terms'). If you do not agree, please refrain from registering or using the Site.

CHANGES TO THE AGREEMENT

We reserve the right to:

1. Modify the Terms of this Agreement at any time.
2. Adjust or discontinue features of the Site.
3. Change any fees or charges for the use of the Site.

Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting or notice. Continued use of the Site after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION

To become a Member, you must:

1. Be at least 18 years of age.
2. Provide accurate, current, and complete information ('Registration Data') during the registration process.
3. Complete identity verification by submitting a valid photo ID and a live photo during registration.

You agree that if your Registration Data is inaccurate or incomplete, HMM reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership.

Important: Although HMM requires photo ID verification, we do not guarantee the accuracy of data provided by other members or third-party sources (e.g., optional background checks). You acknowledge that HMM is not responsible for any interactions, claims, or disputes arising from inaccuracies or omissions in third-party data.

MEMBERSHIP USE & TERMINATION

Your membership is personal and non-transferable. You may terminate your membership at any time by providing written notice. All membership fees are non-refundable.
HMM reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership without notice if you breach any of the terms in this Agreement.

USERNAME & PASSWORD

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and for all activities under your account. You may not transfer or sell your membership or access to the Site to third parties.

ONLINE CONDUCT

As a Member, you agree to:

1. Post only content that is accurate and respectful of other Members.
2. Refrain from posting defamatory, obscene, offensive, or illegal content.
3. Not engage in harassment, stalking, or unsolicited advertising to other Members.
4. Not collect personal information from others without their consent.

HMM reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms but does not assume responsibility for content posted by Members. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Members, and HMM encourages caution when sharing personal information.

SAFETY & SECURITY

HMM is committed to creating a safe environment through mandatory photo ID and live photo verification. Members may opt to request additional background checks for individuals they meet. However, HMM is not liable for any actions or consequences resulting from interactions that occur off the Site, or for information provided by third-party verification services.
We take reasonable precautions to secure the Site but cannot guarantee complete safety from data breaches or unauthorized access. Members should report any suspicious activity to info@harmonicmatchmaking.com.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

HMM is not liable for:

1. The conduct of other Members, including inaccuracies in profiles or third-party information.
2. Any actions or consequences arising from interactions between Members off the Site.
3. Damages or losses, including but not limited to, lost data, service interruptions, or personal injury, arising out of the use or inability to use the Site.

To the extent permitted by law, HMM’s liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service during your membership.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

All payments for membership are final and non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances determined at HMM’s discretion. If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact info@harmonicmatchmaking.com. Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

PROPRIETARY RIGHTS & CONTENT

All content on the Site, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and proprietary information, belongs to HMM or its licensors. By posting content to the Site, you grant HMM and other Members a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content.

DATA PRIVACY

HMM respects your personal information and complies with California privacy laws and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be stored securely and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold HMM, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims or damages arising out of your breach of this Agreement or misuse of the Site.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in California, USA.
